They told me to be a knight, but I found the armour heavy.
The blades were dull and my steed was old.
The tools they gave me were orthodox yet ancient not suited for me or the battle I was in.
So I left and found my own way.
I realised that I was never meant to fit into the confines of basic armour.
My journey led me to other worlds. Exposed me to other techniques unorthodox and unique. Each new skill compounding with the former, creating the multitude that is me.
And who I am is more prepared to save a damsel than any knight.
I am an alchemist, fusing the mundane to create a masterpiece.
I am a necromancer, resurrecting feelings thought to be out of reach.
I am a renegade, showing you that doors are only one possible escape.
I am a beast master, befriending dragons and trolls not slaying them.
I am a shadow caster, using the darkness inside to the best of my ability.
I am a cleric, using elements as my sword and the earth as my shield.
So you see, I was never meant to be a knight because what I am is so much more
