The Irony of Life

As I watch the sun and moon play hide and seek in the sky,

I find myself laughing for no reason, 'cause nothing around me is hilarious.

I've been for long locked in a house, where all I do

Is speak to myself only and live in my imaginations.

But now that I'm finally set free to face the outside,

I get all confused at the dazzling sight of the things around.

The oceans and the land are all merry and dancing gracefully.

The cloud and the sand have immersed themselves in the river of joy.

Fire and water are at peace and running around like toddlers.

The stars fall alongside with water droplets from the skies.

The lioness and the doe groom their young ones together by the lake.

The chicken and its chicks are in a parade with hawks.

And a fox and a goat are actually sharing a meal.

I stop laughing and shake my head in surprise and shock as I try to reason.

How possible can it be,

A fox sharing a meal with a goat.

The chicken and its chicks in a parade with hawks.

A lioness and a doe grooming their young ones together.

Stars falling with raindrops.

Can fire and water come in contact without the fire dying?

And how can oceans and land meet without the land being swallowed?

These sights truly shock me in my innermost thought.

And can the moon ever go near the sun without it melting? That they play hide and seek in the skies?

I burst into an uncontrollable fit of laughter,

As I realize that what I'm seeing is nothing but just the IRONY OF LIFE
