The Introvert Diaries

The fool is always the center of attention.

Always the one being laughed at,

always playing along while the rage burns within.

The fool gets pushed around and is always the punchline.

Never confident in themselves always becoming another's play thing.

But you can only laugh and tease and poke fun for so long.

Feeling like an eternity until they finally snap.

With their scar covered body and demented laughed,

suddenly now you're not the one who thinks it is funny.

Now you see how things are on the other side.

Now you realize how if feels to always be made fun of.

As they tear you apart shred by shred,

hell fires burn in their eyes as they picture your gruesome end.

But you insist it was just jokes,

you beg them to believe it was all for the sake for fun.

But things aren't so funny when you're on the other side of the knife.

All of a sudden things are different now that its your wellness on the line.

A fool is a fool because they always go back,

they are lonely without you because you

feel like you're the piece they lack.

Always the one taking a bullet for others,

until finally they've got the gun and it's pointed to your back.

The pain that engulfs them slowly swallows their shy smile.

The gentleness within them disappears without a thought.

Everyone tries to fix things after it's too late and the pieces are lost.

People learn the hard way you shouldn't fix whats not broken

because that's when it finally breaks.

And once a person breaks they are never whole again.

But a fool is a fool because they will still love you.

Heart in hand they will still do for you.

Willing to give you everything and expect nothing in return.

A fool is a fool because they are will go to the depths of hell,

just so you won't have to bear the burn.

A fool is a fool because they make themselves believe

they can be just like you.

To you it's just fun but your words give them life.

They hang on every syllable and cherish your very sight.

But a fool doesn't know you're just a cruel being.

They don't know that all you say to them is just you lying.

For the sake of entertainment of your beloved friends,

is it really worth pushing someone's limits to their very end?

The flaws of a fool are they love too deep.

They feel too strong and they trust you're a friend they will keep.

They give and give until they have nothing left.

They die inside as they give it all they've got.

They can't bare to see someone sad so they put their troubles aside.

But the thing with a fool is that they always get fooled more than twice.

Always taken advantage of,

and always used until they're nothing left.

An empty shell at the end of the day

they pick themselves up and do it all over again.

And these are the fatal flaws of the humble fool.
