A leader is one who leads

So a leader without a follower is not leading

Instead, he is taking a walk solo

A giving a talk to an empty room

A corpse influencer

You might lead me by demanding

Using your title as influence and threat

I follow because I must do

You might lead me by knowing

Using your relationship as a positive lever

I follow because I can do

You might lead me by example

Carving a path and inviting others on

I follow because I want to

You might lead me by developing

Giving real change to those who submit

I follow because I see a future

Or

You might lead me by inspiring

Changing the world and offering me to join you

I follow because I see no other future
