The Inevitable

how do you pick yourself up

when your knees burn from constantly falling down

you climb the mountain, as you feel a rush through your body

you reach the top but then out of nowhere, the winds knock you down

& down you go, rolling, nonstop, full speed, an unaware of where you'll land

the danger with climbing back up is that sometimes you'll just come crashing down again

so, how do you pick yourself up?

you just do it. sounds impossible sometimes. but it is possible.

you keep climbing, and take the risk of collapsing

because we rather risk a chance of happiness than conforming to a life of emptiness

and after collapsing, a new skin has shed, a new you is born

it's the inevitable crash & rise
