You didn’t get the hint,
Or maybe you did.
That this is not what I want,
For you are not him.
Did you hear my pleas
over your insatiable hunger?
Like a ravenous beast.
You tore into my flesh,
Teeth like razors
Pulling and gnawing at my fragile sex.
I was weak in that moment,
Afraid and naked.
Like a newborn, entering the world,
Except I found no comfort
in these arms that held me.
You weighed me down,
Your hands like shackles,
Refusing to meet my eyes.
You must have known this was wrong,
Yet you didn’t stop.
Pushing my head down,
Until my mouth was so filled with you,
Bile and disgust rose in my throat,
And then you were finished.
Leaving me to curl into myself,
Retreating to the other side of the bed,
In a heap of sorrow and shame.
While your putrid shadow clung to me.
And now, here I sit, thinking you must have known.
You must have seen me and known
That what you did was wrong.
Though you were seemingly
Unbothered, rolling over to sleep,
As if you hadn’t just violated me.
