The whole World's against you, but we'll make you make believe it's your friend.

The system you've fell for 'Stockholm' chokes the very freedom we throw away.

It's acceptable that hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt are the reward for the hours of mental breakdowns.

"It'll make you a better person," we're told.

Fight for what you believe, but don't forget what you're fighting provides you

"Down with corporations!"

Is proclaimed by those who adore over priced themed coffees and designer wear.

Viewed as the scum of the Earth, chastised for decisions not solely made, while the country is taken for granted.

"Stupid Americans." Who could blame them...?

Rats racing, a president who rants racism all the meanwhile, "Did you see that video? Poor Africans... I'll make a post about it! That will really make a difference! This diamond's from that same region! It'll help their economy!"

But even real donations barely make it past salaries.

Stalemated between our short existence and endless amount of dollar signs that aren't truly ours. Holiday Figments slowly losing there meaning. Marketing ploys disguised as televised messages. Subliminal messages making their way into our minds to make us think it's our decision.

"$2 for $5, one for 3 dollars... might as well, right?"

Our thoughts are copy-written. Our History is grossly over glorified. Our Land was others land before the brave horrified existence.

"Someone's gotta get it done, so you don't have to"

Will forever be the loophole.

Pitted against one another to believe that a mans blood could be worthless, because their buying power is worth less.

"Who do you think you are?"

Imagination dies, information regurgitated, credited for the words of others because it makes us looks better. On a tiny lit screen, with so much for free that we imprison ourselves to it, as it if was our lifeline, that the last thing we grant ourselves is freedom.

"Have you read those terms and conditions?"

Too good to do more, too bad for those who do less. All for the vision of that white picket fence.

"I'll have it all one day."

The hypocrisy would be for me not to admit that I'm just as apart of this as the next person. But one thing I can't say is:

"I am proud to be a Generican."
