The Fallen Dream

A Poem

From lies told, mistrust and betrayal, sorrow faded away when an image popped up in my timeline. A poem sprouted…

This whole idea started with three things.. one someone lied to me very badly and ended up with another man. Then another person lied to me about the place that person lives. Then I saw this picture on VK. There you go... I got all the ingredients to write.

The Fallen Dream.

Energy from the universe pierced through the veins,And the clouds built in the mind and erupted,Into boisterous laughter as gladness in fear hid,The blasphemy of that moment, an untold romantic story.
The subconscious in the weight of dread collapsed,Oh’ every step to impress the lady became heavier,As the difference between truth and lies became a mystery,And she laid in the bed of another man intoxicated by lust.
The mind bloomed up in the clouds like a mushroom cloud,The battle ground for emotions and minds disappeared,Blood stained feathers fallen from darkened horizons,Ah’ none known love was only a fabricated dream.
That dream fell deep into a soul eradicating expectations,Romance once intoxicated became a nightmarish parasite,Her eyes faded into the dancing aurora filled with mist,Oh’ the unloved man buried deeper into his own unknown soul.
Night left, horizon cleared, eyes opened, Oh’ he wished,All were a dream and that dream to be forgotten into unwritten history.Oh’ all he saw were stairs going up and down from where he stood,The blood stained feathers scattered, as down as eyes can see.
He looked up, he looked down and then he looked all around,Reality and fantasy lost their boundaries and now hunts his soul,But through the cracked walls came the dawning lights from east.Ah’ there is always a new day and every new day brings a vision.
