The golden records held inside the Voyager probes, swimming through interstellar space. On it holds pieces of human life. Every possible language, a baby's cry, the human heartbeat, people dancing, culture, scientific knowledge, history, music...The two Voyagers have discovered amazing things about our solar system and beyond. To greet new life they float on, holding these precious records of us. *References Carl Sagans 'Pale Blue Dot' speech.

Lub-dub lub-dub lub-dub…

Houston can you hear me?

My heart is still beating!

The Pale Blue Dot

Gleaming so perfectly

…Out of reach

Treasures of worlds

Clouds of swirling masterpiece

Enveloping mysteries…

But nothing compares to thee

Pale Blue Dot

“Suspended in a sunbeam”

Oh, Jupiter tell me!

The origins of Earth and Life

Please! Let me meet

All your lovely satellites

Europa’s gushing plumes

So closely meets the beat

Of the golden sounds inside of me

Earth is a piece of everything

I sure hope they are watching

They can’t miss what I’m about to see…

Blazing hexagonal poles

Intricate awe-inspiring rings

Hazy Titan makes sure we meet

With my partner, the journey starts

And Uranus’ moons are revealed from the dark

This world… these structures… never seen before!

Neptune’s great dark spot

Triton’s strange path

I could explore here forever

But I wasn’t meant to last

The fly-by is cap

My last look back

The golden records… spin so fast

Itching for an outsider to adore

The beauties of life and death

Love and culture

“Every hopeful child… inventor and explorer”

Lost in the cosmic sea

Lub-dub-lub-dub-lub-dub

Their heartbeats

Will always live inside me

To interstellar space, I bring with peace
