The Doctor

A Poem

The oldest question.

Hidden in plain sight.

Doctor? Doctor Who?

And what a sight to see,

That this time the Doctor,

Is actually a she!

Not only is Jodie female,

Which is great enough as it is!

But the lass is from Yorkshire,

Right up on the Moors!

Some people are against it,

Some people think it’s wrong,

Cause the Doctor’s been a male,

His whole life long.

I think they’re just silly,

To sit and skulk away.

They were quite happy with Missy,

That was an ordinary day.

So people can just suck it,

Cause Jodie is here to stay.

We’re Yorkshire! We’re Yorkshire!
