A Force That Must Be Counterbalanced by Multiplication

What's the cause of the divide?
We are,
but take each day in stride.
After all, we still have to live our lives.
The divide is contagious,
It feeds on ignorance and fear.
It's also a bit outrageous,
why must we be here?
To some, the divide is power.
A privilege to the fortunate masses.
Separating us one by one,
Into distinct classes.
The divide is loud, obnoxious and in your face,
How can we expect to survive as a entire human race?
The divide, however, is not invincible,
it can be destroyed.
We must learn from one another,
such that diversity can be employed.
The divide is persistent
but is not the law.
Together we stand,
divided we fall.
