The Deep Truth

I kinda despise the feeling I get when I see your face,

a cold rush of light that runs through my veins.

It eats me up inside,

it makes everything else fade to grey

to the point that you're the only thing running about in my brain.

..Now..

It kills me

I'm breaking down inside, but to you I act the same.

These thoughts are haunting me, they're driving me absolutely insane.

The fact that you think you know my pain,

but babe,

seeing you with her doesn't wipe out the rain.

YOU are not the sunshine

as much as I want to smile when I see you,

it always ends up with a cry.

You caused the clouds in my heart,

with such a torn definition from the start.
