The Conjoined Princesses of Poppy Castle
Chapter 1. Conjoined Princesses are born into a royal family.
The Conjoined Princesses
Once upon a time
In a faraway isle
There lived a King and Queen
And they were expecting a child
Both were excited
To say the least
The king most of all
His smile never ceased
Finally, the day came
The King was ecstatic
The Queen, calm as ever
at her husband’s dramatics
The midwife showed up
And kicked everyone out
Including the King
Who was starting to shout
A few hours later
a babe could be heard
not one scream but two
this is absurd!
Only one child
Was supposed to be heard
The King knocked softly
And asked to enter
The Queen said yes
Come learn your child’s gender
The King entered quietly
Now a new father
the Queen pulled back the blanket
revealing conjoined daughters
• The King’s eyes widened
He didn’t know what to say
He took the Queen's hand
And he started to pray
• Thank you God,
for my two healthy girls
I love them more
Than gold and pearls
• He opened his eyes
And kissed his Queen
Then picked up his daughters
His smile, serene
• I was expecting one daughter
A child brand new
But I see I have another
One is better than two
• You will one day rule
This kingdom by the waters
All of it will be yours
My beautiful daughters
• You both need names
Said the King suddenly
He turned to his wife
Who was watching quietly
• I have already picked out
Two names lovingly
The left one is Lilly
The right one Lucy
• Lilly and Lucy
Those are perfect, my wife
They shall grow up
Without fear or strife
• I shall always adore them
And make them feel special
No harm shall come to them
My delicate petal
• The King went to the balcony
And raised his daughters
To the anxiously waiting crowd
Who cheered and applauded
• At the sight of
Their new princesses
Who will soon rule over them
With love and graciousness
