The Color of Pain

Sad Poem

Clear tears fall down

It's 2 AM and

there's not a sound.

You can only hear

your own heart race

as you close your eyes and see

his face.

You're trapped in

a dark gray mood

because everyone around you

seems so rude.

How could they laugh when

you're sitting in silence

their sick twisted words

in your ears like sirens.

"He doesn't love you

He doesn't care

He only wants to

take you from those

who'll be there."

Their words make

you red because

you know those are lies.

Because you dream about

the boy with ocean eyes.

Blue, gray, red.

It's all in your head.

As you search for his name,

you start seeing the colors of

pain.
