The Chunky-Monkey Monday

A Children's Story

On Monday I went in to work and saw a chunky-monkey.

He said, “Hou hi ha hou ha ho”

and he had just been bitten by a mosquito

so he was an itchy-twitchy, chunky-monkey.

On Tuesday I went in to work and saw

an itchy-twitchy, chunky-monkey.

He said, “Hou hi ha hou ha ho”

and he had just gotten done scaring people as they walked out of the

bathroom (It’s a good thing they’d already gone to the bathroom.)

so he was a very-scary, itchy-twitchy, chunky-monkey on Tuesday.

On Wednesday I went in to work and saw a very scary, itchy twitchy,

chunky-monkey.

He said, “Hou hi ha hou ha ho”

and he was walking around kind of funny because he sprained his ankle

jumping off of a desk

so he was a limpy-gimpy, very-scary, itchy-twitchy, chunky-monkey on

Wednesday.

On Thursday I went in to work and saw a limpy-gimpy, very-scary, itchy-

twitchy, chunky-monkey.

He said, “Hou hi ha hou ha ho”

and he kept sneezing a lot because he had gotten a head cold

so he was a sneezy-teasy, limpy-gimpy, very-scary, itchy-twitchy, chunky-

monkey on Thursday.

On Friday I went in to work, but to my shock and great delight there was

no sneezy-teasy, limpy-gimpy, very-scary, itchy-twitchy, chunky-monkey in

sight.

At the end of the day I got in my car and drove home.

Went I got out of my car I saw that the front door was opened and I saw

my daughter with a sneezy-teasy, limpy-gimpy, very-scary, itchy-twitchy,

chunky-monkey on her shoulder.

He said, “Hou hi ha hou ha ho”

“Daddy, look what I found!” “Can we keep him?” “I already named him

Tacky-Mackie”

So this is the story of how Tacky-Mackie the sneezy-teasy, limpy-gimpy,

very-scary, itchy-twitchy, chunky-monkey came to live at our house.

On Saturday and Sunday Tacky-Mackie was quite a sappy-happy, sneezy-

teasy, limpy-gimpy, very-scary, itchy-twitchy, chunky-monkey.

And my daughter had a new best friend.
