She's mad that I left yet sad that she was the one who let her gates open.

Now her wall is broken, I have come after them and made repair but she won't change her mind.

"Mindy!" I yelling agony hoping she hears over the wall that was broken and now is recovering.

Silence

She gets up and on a day we meet to walk the line.

We keep the wall between us as we go, she's weak and doesn't say a word.

I can barely see her through to each the boulders that have fallen to each, and that beautiful face that was once so happy.

He's still trying to take me back, I still crave for him even though we wear our fingers rough with handling them.

"Mindy!" he yells but I don't answer, "Jack!" I scream in my mind wishing that I can take him back.

Yet he is all pine and I am apple orchard, it will never work.

I get up still hurt and weak from the pain, we gently walk through the worlds ground.

He only says, "Good fences make good neighbors."

What does that mean? Was I too weak? or was it him who started too strong.

My mind is telling me to leave him but something there that doesn't love a wall, my heart.
