The Book of End

A Poem

The book of END retells,

A tale of deep slumber;

The Fate of humankind-

And all the world to plunder.

A Time when Life and Death

Could never truly be;

So Soul they took,

Leaving Mind and Body be.

Forsaken as Mind and Body were,

In this game of hope and despair.

To meet the END of Fate,

Is the only thing that’s clear.

For the Soul to be reshaped,

Only Life and Death could make;

A new Body and Mind for Soul

To escape the voice of Fate

But before that time,

The tears of Fate are heard.

After a long cry of acrimony,

Is when the dark slumber came.

So up steep mountains –

The Body must climb,

To find a place of wonder,

Where Life and Death discover-

And down the rabbit hole –

The Mind must tumble,

To find a place of wonder,

Where Life and Death discover;

That the path Fate marches,

To the place Where Life and Death –

Did Love in secret meet;

Is where the Soul does seek.

Once more Life and Death concede,

And Soul rejoice once more,

With Mind and Body at peace,

The book of END can sleep.
