The Beautiful Calm, Consumed by Panic
Anxiety
Content, in your boat, you paddle out,
The vessel fills and you fear you’ll drown,
The beautiful calm, consumed by panic.
Submerged, the water consumes endlessly
But you gasp, you find no threat,
No trouble in finding your breathe.
Floats gently down, the golden bed.
The current drafts the waters away
Quickly, warming, impossible
But how does the tide be replaced by the wind?
To follow the bed is to open your eyes, to breath in the water is to take of the risk, the golden bed should comfort rise, the wind to pick you up to start again.
Take your vessel out, for it offers the chance for emotion and discovery.
Each rock you hit, each time you sink
Your return will bring normality, your fear will soon subside, you can continue your journey and you’ll have known yourself.
