The Ballerina

Yet, you only see her mask.

She swings her arms and leaps with her legs

Not showing the pain of her aching body

Her slender yet curved body forming

Her green eyes singing and her black hair dancing

Her curved and slender body twisting

Yet, you only seem to be looking at her mask

Her eyes pull you in and sets you back

Showing her emotions through her body

She has captured you

Engulfed you in her mesmerizing gaze

Yet, you only seem to be looking at her mask

She swings again with grace and flies like the birds

Twirling with such ease

Intensity growing with each twist

She has you wrapped around her finger

Wounding you like a box

Yet, you only seem to be looking at her mask

She leaps once again and sinks the ships with her smile

Those rosy and full lips enticing the music

Her flirtatious beauty swinging you to the beat of her rhythm

And there she goes

Pulling in her last act with her arms extended and leg raised

Beckoning the world to see through her façade

Yet, you only seem to be looking at her mask
