That Moment

I have a moment, each and every how long

And in that moment, I wish and wish to hear the song.

Song of silence, be broken

Because it's in that moment when all my shadows are thrown at me

Suddenly it becomes hard to breathe like I took in too much

too much to let go.

Why?

Such a simple question haunts my soul,

Why me, Why can't I sleep

Why does my stomach ache and my feet shake?

Silent but deadly, the saying echoes through me.

With a satisfying Victory.

You see in that moment when you're all alone

And fears that are no man's but your own

Come alive and kick and fight

dragging you down, back into reality.

Waking you up, so that you can see

The battle ahead, fighting fiercely you have to be

Strong, Because the battle must go on.

That moment frightens me, it brings me to tears

Tears I never allow people to see

Some say "Suck it up" or "You're too emotional"

But can you fill my shoes and see what I see

Feel how I feel

In That moment, when everything feels like it's crumbling around you

That moment when all your hope is dashed away

when you lose faith

when you begin to feel all alone, that God has truly

Truly left you alone, On the Battlefield, watching you bleed.

I never Chose this life, this life chose me

In that moment

Everything stops, while it seems like you're forever crying out in slow motion

like it never ends, like it's meant, to be relived over and over again

You do not know my pain,

So how, How can you tell me "Suck it up"

Because it was all I ever wanted, I can't stop

Because it was my dream

I watched it perish.

I watched it perish in flames

And in that moment, I did not claim victory

So I feel it necessary to let my tears flow

Let the wind blow, All hell go

Because in that moment,

All is lost and I just want to be free

of the burden of what was once lost.

In that moment while my world burns

and memories flash through my mind

I believe somehow, I can leave it behind

looking forward I find the strength to live again,

Until that moment finds me again

when I am at my peeking point and Sweeps it away.

Because in that moment, I am like a Pheonix

Reborn in Flame.

Reborn in the flame of my former glory,

To start afresh

To start Anew

To begin again

But we, every man on this earth

can never avoid

THAT MOMENT..
