You knocked on the door.

I pretended I wasnae in.

Sorry about that.

You rang me and text me

I said I didnae hear it. I lied.

Sorry about that.

You asked me if I was ok

Inside I thought, what a stupid question you idiot,

Sorry about that.

You stopped me in the street.

I tried to not meet your eyes. I couldnae avoid you.

Sorry about that.

You asked me again - how was I doing?

With tears in my eyes and pain on my face, I said I was fine.

You didn't give up. You gave me a hug.

Thanks for that.
