Farewell

It hasn't been in vain that you lived it with pain

Although in the end you had nothing to gain

You never gave up on me, you tried again and again

In my mind I thought I'll grow up and ease up your pain

But seemed like it took too long to rain

My hopes were starved until there was no longer a grain

For you were taken away or should I say traveled away

And before you depart you told me to stay

With a soft heart you it's all gonna be okay

Knowing in my heart my life will be of a horse without hay

I couldn't reply for departed before I opened my mouth

I decided to put in paper now that I'm grown

Farewell big man, farewell

Be well as you wander around the streets of heaven

Just know that dream I talked about while you laughed I'm on it

Farewell pops, farewell

I remember when you smiled when I said I act and sing

And you said,"That ain't a thing until you make it a thing"

You said the world is mine if I'm up for it

As a young boy doubted about it

Until now I feel like the Lord said, "...and so be it"

Farewell and be well dad

Little drops

Drip! Drop!

The little faint sound I can hear.

Sounds so near yet far fetched.

I yearn the warmth to feel.

Although the thought surreal.

The fountain therewith drained, only to turn red out of emotions

Should the bearer wipe away the running that passes the little hills of the face?

Should he let the ground so covered whilst the mind away it goes.

Deep in the wonder world like my mother does.

The sound fades away, the tears becomes of count.

Hoping to see a brighter picture as I turn around.

Yes they seem few the tears but my heart has it.

The dirge the pianist has on a eulogy play.

Should I and will I, find a soft bed to lay?

And let a voice whisper, saying it is going to be okay.

Everything I seem to across, is always a little drops.

Little drops of joy,l ittle drops of love, little drops of everything.

Was Bob Marley correct, when he talked the being alright of everything?

Because mine are just little drops.
