Tearing Down Your Walls
Just because She didn't understand your heart, doesn't mean I don't.

Sweetheart,
I want you to fall apart. Scream. Cry.
Get unapologetically angry at the whole world-
throw punches til your knuckles bleed
and let me be there to soothe your wounds.
Let me kiss your tears away,
and stand at your side as you face down your darkness.
Allow your broken pieces to show
without worry I might cut myself
on the jagged edges of your soul.
Your pain deserves to be felt,
not held inside to make me feel comfortable.
Sincerely,
Not Her, and not going anywhere
