A Narrative Poem

Teara Trubble was an awkard soul. She loved video games and being alone.

She wore braids in her hair, silver and gold. All the secrets from the video games, she never told.

Teara's friend, Ellie, wanted her to play outside. But Teara did not want to, because the sun was too bright.

After hours and hours of playing video games, Teara was getting bored and lonely.

She called her friend, Ellie, but she was already asleep. Tears in her eyes she did keep.

Teara did not want to play anymore games, she wanted to go outside and play.

But the sun had already set, so Teara slept.

Teara woke up the next morning, eager for the day. She finally talked to Ellie, and she was on her way.

Teara waited and waited, excited to see her best friend. She held two jump ropes, her and Ellie's favorite outside toy.

After waiting awhile, Ellie showed up. Teara was happy.

“Best friends?” she asked. Ellie nodded. “The best of friends!”
