Mindful Moment

A leaf, a breeze, a warm sunbeam, simple things that can make you dream.

From day to day your mind will rest but your only aware when it is over.

But don’t wait for this time to happen again, your life needs a break so lets do it again

Slow your actions and take your time, take note of what is about you, weather dour or fine.

Take in the sounds, the sights and take note of your senses.

In this short time that you take, to think of the now, feel the difference it makes to how you feel.

The simple acts of what’s happening about, will bring you home from within and throughout.

And the blissful exuberance of knowing what is, it’s all you need, it is the true fix.

Don’t let negative emotions linger in your mind, to fester and multiply and get you down.

It’s these happier moments that will carry you through, a life without this feels sullied and cruel.

And if your darkened mind doesn’t want to let go, remember what you reap you sow.

A lie, a dark thought or an unsavoury picture, will only lead to lifeless self image.

It’s within your grasp, it takes but a moment, so lift your head and think what you want.

Life is not about what you can make, its about what you can give, for heaven's sake
