There's a rich history of poetry serving as social commentary, intended to inspire calls to action.

Sometimes you have to leave right away So the house gets left in disarray You do you’re best to repair it on the fly As you try to keep the wings level

the night
the moon shines too bright tonight I know where you might be where they draw the blinds and midnight oil burns incessantly until the last dawn

Is Love an Organ? Why do we ascribe love to the heart? The organ with four valves and the equal amount of chambers? A strong yet fragile thing
If Only
If I were rich…I would buy the world a farm to feed itself. And if I could fly, I’d take every child to the moon to feel the stars in their hearts.

Quick note: I’m trying to clear out my WIP 🚧. It’s getting too chaotic. So am unloading some garbage, I mean stuff I was not big on. I didn’t really like this distraction entry as it felt too negative, while it has a message, um.. I definitely don’t recommend destitution! 😅 I also don’t think my words for each letter REALLY match the theme. Enjoy, or not. I don’t care!

These are my ponderings on what ifs. ►►►►►►►►►► If I were a rich man I would find the poorest people in the United States (my homeland) and feed them. If some of those being fed were cheating and not really poor, I would still feed them without question because that is a person with a broken soul who needs nourishment and nurturing. I would go further and find the poorest nations in the world and feed them also because the poor in the United States are not the only ones in need.
