Symphony of the Damned

Winds shift, cold and angry like winter.

<Piano>

A spring day, soft winds wafting gently between trees.

Flowers bloom; sweet smells drift around, soft pastels covering the ground.

A waltz, preformed by two star-crossed lovers darting

between the trees, startling doe’s and their fawns.

A clearing, a spring lake like a looking glass

Disturbed only by playful romping in shallows

To become like glass once more

As lovers return down the path

<Disco>

Winds shift, cold and angry like winter.

The pleasing waltz decays into disarray.

A new chase begins, this one full of terror.

People searching, angry chatter erupts as families fight.

The lovers run, wanting to escape the fighting.

Two families continue to search for run away children.

Never nearing an end.

<Sound Board>

Reaching a climax, the fighting peaks.

Neither party wanting to dismantle the boundaries they have laid.

The lovers squabble with family

attempting to make known their feelings.

A petty argument, an ignorant fight

will not keep these star-crossed lovers apart.

Only death will part them now.

The three songs I chose to use for inspiration were:

Schubert's "Ave Maria" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAaJzTWX_Io

David Shire's "Night on Disco Mountain" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2KJ_H8QRVg

Mana Khemia's "Spring Cat Fight" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDr1IcL6rw4
