That look in your eyes
may I stare for awhile
your beauty is pure
you are my medicine, my cure
My drop of imperfection that I am
doesn’t make me less of a man
to feel your warmth is more than I can stand
oh... my warm summer eve
may you become my tree buds to leaves
Oh... Sweet Mary Eve (2)
May I continue to stare ..
under that smile of yours,
lies a story that goes beyond mine and yours
and the way you move...oh..
the smell of your perfume
may I assume...
that attraction can roam
around the world and right back to you
Oh... warm summer Eve
Oh... Sweet Mary Eve (2)
May I say, you take my breath away...
over your valleys...around your neck
down to your stream, among your flowers that I dream..
Oh...Sweet Mary Eve...
Oh... Sweet Mary Eve (2)
may you become me spring breeze...
and wash away all that they’d leave
Oh... Sweet Mary Eve (2)
I didn’t mean to glare for those blue eyes and long dark hair
but with thoses hours that became days
the magic of you in my plays
Drove me out on my mind...
and would cross that line
that it was you.
...Oh sweet summer Eve
Oh.. Sweet Mary Eve (2)
