Superior Drowning Skills

Or... fly high and drown.

In my youth, in my eyes

I believed there was something more

The fire's dimming now, dark eyes

Hold nothing inside but scorn

Times are gone to dream again

All I wanted has fallen away

I'm back down on my knees again

Though I have no faith, I pray

I wondered why I cannot leave

Why I can't be taken away

I tried to let it go and grieve

But I'm still trapped in the rain

Mother, come and save me from myself

Father, tell me it's okay to need help

If you love me, please don't let go

Don't leave me here to drown on my own
