Opposite Settings

Steadfast in pace while moving. Picking up speed quickly as to blur when seen; her body sings songs sorrow as her soul was forced to this burning in a flesh like hell. Knowing she could be a closer version to what's reflected within if money wasn't an option and she had the desire for the surgery. She had been born into a body of opposite settings; she doesn't have any plans of getting her faulty body changed for she believes this is a lesson to gain from, rather than a curse of suffering. The growth in the depths of her patience is one of the many things that has been earned from this torture bestowed upon her.

Having strong urges of self destruction at times that is accompanied by an overwhelming want for it now is the battle she fights often. The act of drowning her painful sense of being in substances and self mutilation. Though, she goes against her impulsive instincts because she knows this could be her undoing in most cases. Not that she is overly depressed, nor is she only allowing focus on how other's see her intensity, there are just times when keeping balance isn't easily achieved and tripping is most likely. All this imbalance rendering her as a useless pile of filth mixed with a self loathing caused by the skin she wasn't prepared to wear before birth.

As if trying to not make a scene about it, she loses herself in her singing. She even holds a dream for fame through her need of being heard. Yet, keeping herself safe in her comfort zone. Only singing within the four walls of her bedroom that carry the weight of her bedroom blues. Using the same space to create loose flowing poetry and beautiful drawings of her physical self. For those four walls allow the freedom from her feelings and helps fuel the current muse towards whatever her hands are busy forging. Although she creates very many pieces, she has a dislike for all of them as if having a knowing that she could do better than what she's done. Leaving her unimpressed and not allowing herself a break from high standards of self. Even when her newest creation is the best in its' quality compared to all previous works.

This is the life she leads. Within that body all wrong. Within this skin of me.

I'm a free spirit, who is usually lost in free thought. As life goes on and I age closer to my death, I've come to realize that these free thoughts seem to be all I truly have. And that's okay.
