Stolen Heart

An End

By Gabriela LinaresPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Brown sugary eyes,

soft, gentle soul

hidden behind a metal armor

that blocks her real soul

long beautiful hair;

like a fallen angel made her look

so easy to become enchanted

so easy to get lost.

Even though we stayed a secret,

the chemistry never went unnoticed,

it was obvious our souls danced

to the rhythm of the prohibited

she was the rush,

a sweet reckless breath of fresh air,

a sinful despair

a disguised devil in a dress.

Long deep talks,

laughs and shared thoughts

stole my heart.

The starts were her witness,

hiding the realness

of evil intentions

she was Cain,

and I was Abel

and just like that

we came to an end.
