Have you ever looked at the stars with someone you love

the feeling you get with their arms around you

just looking at the beauty of it all

and you will never forget that feeling

that memory will last forever

people grow old and drift apart

when i was little i always looked at the stars at night

but when i got older those simple things faded away

i remember laying in the back of my truck looking at them

and then being asked why do i care about them why are they special

but they are so pretty all laid out for the world to see

i even had the love of my life call me and say hey go look at the stars

we was apart but he still wanted to share that moment with me

and now every time we are together at night we look at the stars

and you never know when you wish upon that star

maybe all your dreams can come true

They are a beautiful masterpiece that simply gets overlooked
