I used to feel oh, so alone

And when you came, my life's shadow

Was blasted away to the stars

Lighting up my dull life

Your diamond eyes made me see

How exciting the world can be

Your graceful self showed everyone

How life is an adventure

Starlight, Starlight, where did you go?

Starlight, Starlight, what have you learned

In that wide-eyed mind of yours

Leaving me all alone?

Starlight, Starlight, please come back home

Starlight, Starlight, I miss you so

I'm sorry for what I have done

To make me deserve this harm

Soon, your eyes started to fade

And your heart grew oh, so afraid

I felt so lonely once again

As if I had lost a friend

I didn't mean to say what I said

I just wanted my friend again

That diamond-eyed idealist

Who could erase my shadows

Starlight, Starlight, where did you go?

Starlight, Starlight, what have you learned

In that wide-eyed mind of yours

Leaving me all alone?

Starlight, Starlight, please come back home

Starlight, Starlight, I miss you so

I'm sorry for what I have dome

To make me deserve this harm

You helped me see the world's beauty

Through your eyes' and mind's poetry

What can I do, what can I do

To get you back, my Starlight?

Starlight, Starlight, where did you go?

Starlight, Starlight, what have you learned

In that wide-eyed mind of yours

Leaving me all alone?

Starlight, Starlight, please come back home

Starlight, Starlight, I miss you so

I'm sorry for what I have dome

To make me deserve this harm
