Standardized Love
Something I wrote up during a test.

The silence is my friend,
For I cannot say something dumb
Or to offend. But to my right
You sit, completing the test.
This test is the nest of
utter malarkey. So Instead,
All I do is sit and write this poem
Line by line, For my heart
And my brain is on you all the time.
It is useless to attempt this test
With you at my side because
My love for you will never decline.
We share small glances and giggles,
For the time being that is where our
Relationship will reside. And now
I must abide from a distance.
But through reminiscence I find that
I wrote this rhyme so one day I will be yours
And you will be mine,
For the rest of time.
