The story of how Valentine's day came to be is a dark story
This story is not happy
Saint Valentine is a priest
He is responsible for this holiday
Long ago there was an emperor
Emperor Claudius the second
There was a lot going on in this time period
The main point of this story is love
Love that was banned
Emperor Claudius put a ban on love
Meaning no marriage
No one wanted to stand against the emperor
So this is were Valentine comes in
Standing for love
Valentine started to marry people
Once he was caught by the emperor
He was arrested and put up for execution
Now although Valentine went through execution
He is recognized for giving love to others
This story has many sides
One way it ends is with a lady named Julia
She goes and visits saint Valentine
Talking to him about God
On the day of his death
He leaves a not
