The spring sunrise wraps her warmth around me–illuminating my skin in hues of crimson and golden-brown. As she rises from her winter slumber, her silhouette stretches across the bedroom walls, forming abstract shapes that remind me of modern art sculptures.

I dip my hand into the sun drenched outlines, and create my own shadow characters, using the wall as the stage and the sun as the spotlight.
