Spoons & Needles

A Poem

Another junkie's dead; but nobody's keeping score

His mother's heavy heart has fallen to the floor

The one she love, The pain he caused, She loved him even more

Out living your own child is so painful to endure

Is it worth dying for? Is it worth the pain?

Is worth strugglin'? Fuck you heroin!

He was someone's brother, someone's uncle, someone's son

He had dreams of growing up and becoming someone

He was someone's brother, someone's uncle, someone's son

Now his dreams are shattered sticking needles in his arms

Is it worth dying for? Is it worth the pain?

Is it worth strugglin'? Fuck you heroin!
