Split Ends

Life of a Half Breed

Foreign skin, a pure pedigree

Brown with a little bit of light skin

the rest of me disagrees.. I'm like

A cross breed between a Taino Indian and a conquistador

cause the crazy warrior is still in me,

Can’t open the door.

Don’t wake it up. A lion in its den

I’m flying with this pen

The sky is graceful but I’m shining like a gem.

You hear the roar!!

Im no lonzo ball but you see the score!

So sick with it, nothing to play with I’m something you can’t ignore cow lick, red ears, trying to stay slick

With nose freckles,

A simple Puerto rock with a taped frame and some white spectacles.

I stand out.

You’ll never see me in the corner with a brown sign colored with black marker asking for a hand out.

My pride's big, the egos lurking.

I stay on my grind, putting in time, you see me working.
