Spinning into Control

Told you so - perpetually

Merry-go-round madness and the worst kind of sadness

Because I've seen you before and the same scene again and again

Growth cannot happen if you're spinning out of control

I am on the ride of my life that leads to control, or at least to peace

Peace for what it's worth, so I'll just stay put until a tornado comes

How can peace be at peace, or think, to spin, and spin, and spin again?

This is surely no real way to win, as the storming, windy gales blast past

There are times when the anticlimactic things of this life really are the

perfect source of freedom, despite the doctrine the world preaches.
