SPIDER HELL

He caught a spider and kept it in a jar,

He pulled off its legs, so it couldn’t go far.

He took away its deadly bite and

Tortured it when it couldn’t fight.

He killed its dreams and broke its mind,

Using every excuse that he could find.

Then he left it helpless to live in fear.

Too scared to let anyone else near.

Here in this spider hell,

Filled with pain but too ashamed to tell.

People think that love is nice,

But the spider paid an awful price.
