The sun falls along with the passage of time and, as to not be forgotten through the course of night, it plays a symphony of colors into the fading sky. If you pay close attention to the clouds up above on a normal day, you can see them lazily drift across the azure plain, but it's different this time. The clouds seem to stop and listen to the beautiful colors melodically displayed within them. The sky seems to change every time I blink.

-Blink-

Yellow. It begins with a slow accord of light fanfare and brilliant harps, echoing the light that the sun once poured upon the earth. It was no longer for the earth though. It deserved to be in the heavens.

-Blink-

Warm Orange replaces the previous hue. It seems to compel the eyes to watch, like a chorus of revenant choir children invite the ears to listen.

-Blink-

Rubies now glint teasingly. A tide of red invades steadily like the beat of a drum, slowly increasing in vigor and magnitude.

-Blink-

Crimson. The sky burned in the comfortable flames left over by the harmonies of passion before it. The thump of the ruby drums is overcome by the keys of the crimson piano and meld together making—

-Blink-

Scarlet strings play through the cloud's violins and cellos.

-Blink-

Magenta flutes join in to keep the beat going.

-Blink-

A Fuchsia gong rings and reverberates through the skies, the heavens, the domain of the gods.

-Blink-

Soft Pink. The symphony cascades down the octaves. The clouds fade to cotton candy and begin to move once again knowing that the orchestra was soon to end.

-Blink-

I see gray. But not a cold gray. A pleasant gray. Not a bitter end of a proud sequence, but a promise for the return of sunset. A promise for another song.
