Sound it down in your mind
When you find yourself as crazy as me.
Longing for a feeling that will never be found.
Lost in thought, my mind is bound.
This thought and feeling is almost real
Only to be wiped, lost, and forgotten.
Give a reason to go down this road
Other than to want to start over again.
This isn’t something to be dwelled on.
But, once you get like me in the afterlife
It will be too late to go back.
The demons will have your heart and soul.
Sound it down in your mind
To run back now while you’re alive.
Keeping that feeling that should never be lost.
