Your spirit has been etched into my soul.
Tattooed into my very being.
This is making it impossible to let go of you.
You are weighing me down.
Mind, body and soul.
I have no control over this attachment.
Attachments can be positive.
But this one is too much for me to handle.
I can feel it in my soul.
Soul searching before I implode.
Before I sell it to you.
The demon I’m connected to.
And I hope I can cut these ties soon enough to resurrect my life.
After all the shit you conjured up.
My body mirrors the slashes in my soul that were made by your knife.
And I wish I could go back in time before I met you.
You infected me before I could wake up from this dream.
Please let go of my soul so I can live too.

It Only Took One Minute.......
It only took a minute. I was sitting at the computer in my office when the phone rang. I picked up the receiver and then laid it down my desk as I went to find the student who the call was for. Within seconds I was back at my desk, ready to resume typing, when I heard the student yelling obscenities at me for listening in to his call through the handset that was still lying on the desk. Sick and tired of the lies he was spewing, I was up running down the hall, ready to kill him. By the time I reached him, I had calmed enough not to hurt him, but as I turned back towards my room, I knew that I couldn’t go on like this any longer. The decision was clear. I had to leave.
