Songbird

A Man Dreaming about His Soul Mate

I hear an angel calling

"Songbird, where are you?"

And I look around

Knowing in my soul

She calls

For me

An Angel of the Moon

Is blurred

In the mists

Of time and dreams

A hand reaches out

Desperately

Out of the mists

Searching for me

And ever so softly

Caresses my cheek

"My dear Songbird,"

Then the hand

Is ripped away

And I awaken

In a cold sweat

Was it real?

Who was that?

Why am I crying?

I want to find her

I need to find her

She is my other half

She is my other soul
