Someone I Thought I Knew

Friends

Once upon a time

Nothing could tear us apart

Now we don't even speak at all

Time didn't help mend the lost

It just pushed us further apart

Something we thought would last forever

Now what’s left is the broken glass

Scatter on the floor

The silence is deafening

It is the calm before the storm

That is in your hands

Time had passed so slow

or maybe it was fast

i broke my own heart

ive taken the guilt

i dug my own grave

but you buried me alive

Now it's your turn to take the blame

I won't live in shame

No more games to be played

Ive taken the storm

Leaving you in its path

Time had passed so slow

or maybe it was fast

i broke my own heart

ive taken the guilt

i dug my own grave

but you buried me alive
