Eyes of a Soldier
In a soldier's eyes, life and death are one and the same yet ourselves we blame. We refuse to let the tears fall, too proud, we stand too tall. Every night we hear the screams and cries from a past we can't bring to light. Every damn day It's another fight, the one I fear the most is the battle within. I try to follow the herd of cattle and sheep, yet I can never get enough sleep. Wake up putting on this fake face to be accepted in this place I once called home. Now I roam around hiding behind the tears of a clown.

Lost
Lost within and without, everyday living in doubt. In this pain, we scream and shout, even pray for you to stay yet there your body lays. Question my every move can’t help but feel the guilt, the pain now runs deep in my veins. Happiness keeps getting drained away due to all these damn deaths. Still feels as if you are here, on the other end of the phone telling me about your next big plain or you blasting the song I’m the man. Since you were taken way too soon I feel more and more insane, I just can’t understand any reason for the good to die young with a whole life ahead of them. All while assholes and jerks seem to live forever, this shit just fuels my anger.

Invitation to Renga With Me
Ladies and Gentlemen, I am returned. I am envisaging a grand entrance here, a footman perhaps, announcing my arrival, or a both doors flung wide attention grab. That I actually slipped in quietly with an itsy bitsy haiku seems far more in keeping with my actual style. Either way, I am back after an absence of a couple of weeks in which I dedicated myself fully to a family holiday. I could do no different, it has been a very full trip, and a wonderful trip for it. But though I read most of a novel, I took no time to read on Vocal, and no time to write either.
