So Many Reasons

Strange how the thought of you

compares little to the

nearness of you

and how my daydreams of you

unfold sweeter

before my eyes

than in my dreams at night,

wherefantasy should taste sweeter,

but compared to reality tastes bitter,

for my memory of you seems to forget

all the little reasons that I shouldn't let

my heart grow too fond of you...

because every little reason is why

I can't stop

loving you.
