Snowman

When the past catches up to you—and the future doesn't look too good—but maybe there's a reason to wake up.

I think I'm going to build a snowman- make myself a new friend., and we will share cigarettes to forget about all of lifes' regrets. We’ll tell each other secrets and debate the point of smoking cigarettes- we both know that the smokes aren’t worth it.

In this life there's so much to live for but even more to die for. We’ll talk about our children and mention how their love is limitless, and how they always want us around. We’ll talk about how they make us smile and how they make our problems disappear for a while.

We will remember the silence when the children are sound asleep- and how we envy them being able to sleep so peacefully. No stresses or issues that cause us to go through so many tissues- no random thoughts keeping us from the sleep we want.

I think I’m going to build a snowman, make myself a brand new friend- and then when all shit hits the fan, we’ll fall back into the snow and try to bury our sorrows. We’ll cry tears of sadness, flail our arms out of madness- get up and realize- the snow angels been there the whole time. We’ll try to be positive- and quit, we both know the smokes aren’t worth it.

But life isn’t fair- we all lived through some form of nightmare. We all lost people we wish could still be here. We all been bullied, exiled and forgotten- used and abused, we forgot how to care. So know we light up our cigarettes to forget about all of lifes' regrets.

We’ll close our eyes and try our hardest not to cry. We be taking hits off those cigarettes- and then we’ll remember our children and their endless love, and those cute little giggles they give and the adorable little smiles they show while they look at us with such a loving glow. And then we’ll stare at each other with a small glimmer of hope- we live for our children, they don’t judge us so.

Soon we get to thinking. what would our children do we died a little bit too soon?

I’m going to build a snowman, make myself a new friend and then we will take about our problems until winter comes to an end- and hopefully by then I’ll have a new friend.
