"Snowflake" Generation (Poetry)

An Unsalted Butter Economy

I am a "Snowflake"

growing up in an unsalted butter economy.

Selling hatred became a revitalised trend,

everything is a white room and a ruler

with a one word face.

But I'm sat here wondering

if I'll make it to the next year.

Because getting better costs more than a weeks wage

getting better is undoing all that has been done to me,

This may shock the booming,

but this state isn't hereditary

Who is really the failure of society?

a Snowflake

or those that caused the new ice age...
