Slow Race

Race of Life

Life is a race,

At a slow pace,

There are dangers to face,

Do you know your place?

Are you in it like Myspace?

I don’t know if this is my race,

I want to disappear without a trace,

Life is rough, do you want a taste?

I don’t think you can take the case,

But I know you would love to taste the cake,

Or maybe even cut the cake,

But it's too bad life took the cake,

So now I want to lose the race,

But I’m back and strong in the place,

Everyone’s watching and they’re all amazed,

But I stare and I notice they are all dazed,

They say I’m back and haters say no way,

But they already know my name means me no play,

If you not working for it you can’t stay,

But I know game like the track knows the train,

I want you to know I’m not the one to game,

I know how to get the fame,

I can run it like the champ is a lame,

Too bad he’s not, and we know it the same,

I fall then up I raise,

I don’t need praise,

I just want to get through the slow race,

Life is short and there is no time to waste.
